Daddies Do Too Discord and Dad Community: How to Join

Daddies Do Too Discord community graphic for dads looking to connect and share fatherhood experiences.

The Daddies Do Too Discord is open again, rebuilt as a practical community for dads who want honest conversation without the noise of a huge public feed.

It is there for the everyday parts of fatherhood as much as the difficult ones: parenting questions, work pressure, money, mental health, getting fitter, becoming a new dad, family life and the stuff you simply want to talk through with other dads.

Join the Daddies Do Too Discord

Join the Daddies Do Too Discord here.

Start in #introductions, then move into whichever part of the server fits what you need. You do not need to write an essay about yourself or have all the answers.

What is inside the server?

  • General chat for everyday dad life.
  • New dads for pregnancy, newborns, sleep, feeding, bonding and the early months.
  • Parenting and family for routines, behaviour, school and family life.
  • Work, money and rights for providing, job pressure, paternity leave, flexible working and family finances.
  • Mental health for stress, burnout, anxiety, low mood, loneliness and the pressure that can come with being a dad.
  • Health and fitness for training, weight loss, nutrition, sleep and getting healthier.
  • Dad jokes because not everything needs to be serious.
  • Article ideas so the community can help shape what Daddies Do Too covers next.
  • Dad Talk, a voice channel for when typing is not enough.

What kind of community are we trying to build?

Not a place where everyone performs perfect fatherhood. Not a place where every conversation becomes a lecture. And not a server packed with dozens of empty channels.

The goal is a smaller, useful community where dads can ask a question, share a win, admit something is hard, swap experience and find support without feeling judged for not having everything sorted.

Facebook for updates, Discord for conversation

The Daddies Do Too Facebook Page is still the main place for public updates, new articles and discussion posts. Discord is where the deeper, ongoing community conversation happens.

A quick note about privacy and advice

The Discord is peer support, not a confidential professional service. Avoid posting children’s full names, school details, medical records, court documents, exact addresses or private information about another person.

If you need official information or specialist support, start with the Daddies Do Too Dad Resources page. If someone is in immediate danger, call 999. Samaritans can be reached free on 116 123, day or night, 365 days a year.

Come and say hello

If you want somewhere to talk to other dads about the real day-to-day job of being a father, join the Daddies Do Too Discord and start in #introductions.
